I've read the reviews and have been set up over the years with three "hosts." I found IXwebhosting to be as close to perfect as you can get in every aspect - ease of use, price, support, uptime and constantly adding new services. I believe I have encountered two times the systems has been down, and never for an extended period. 1) They moved facilities and sent an e-mail "we will be switching your servers, it should be seemless..."and there was nodowntime, 2) The system was hacked appearently, a denial of service attack I believe - an immediate e-mail telling us what was going on and letting us know they were going to take the servers down to check for any problems - minimal down time. 3) There was a hardware problem once and again, we had an immediate e-mail. I noticed someone mentioned the phone support was "just OK" well, let me assure you, it's bettter than that. I have actually gotten to the same person and had to admit I was calling again with the same "user-error" problem - each time they walked me through until somehting clicked and I remembered how to do it. On the more technical side again, they are always able to walk me through and have never copped an attitude or made my questions seem "small" Overall - I keep thinking I am going to switch, but then I look at what I have here, the price and the fact I have had absolutely no complaints and really never even think about the hosting (except when I forget how to do something).
